Dr. Kerstin Brueckweh, historian at the Leibniz Center for Contemporary History in Potsdam, Germany and a Fellow at the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, joined us to discuss the 30 year anniversary of German reunification, the impact of German reunification on the transatlantic relationship and her project on this period: The Longue Durée of 1989/90 - Regime Change and Everyday Life in East Germany.
